The Dallas Mavericks were back in the American Airlines Center tonight in their first game coming back from the all-star break as they took on the Denver Nuggets and fell 114-104.
The Mavericks were without star rookie Luka Dončič in tonight’s contest and it showed that the rookie was much needed. The team had an inefficient night shooting the ball from distance, ending just 24 percent from three point range along with being dominated on the glass 62-42. Dallas allowed three Denver players, Nikola Jokic, Paul Millsap, and Mason Plumlee to finish with 13 rebounds a piece.
